Owners Cabin Joinery Completed

The Owner’s Cabin Joinery Completed and Varnished

The varnishing in the owners cabin, his and hers bathrooms, and walk in wardrobe has been completed now, and the final coats are going on the owners private lounge and office areas. Covering a full 73 sqm, with 15 large picture windows, this area will be bathed in natural light giving exceptional views out across the waters and bays as you explore the exotic destinations of the worlds most outstanding cruising grounds.

Main Engine Exhaust Piping

The through hull piping, bracing and safety valves for the main engine exhaust system have been bought and installed.

At low RPM’s the exhausts exit through the bypass above the waterline to keep exhaust back pressures down. Once vessel speed increases the exhausts exit through the underwater section of the exhaust system reducing noise levels and redirecting the exhaust gas away from the hull. Engine Room Insulation

 

The insulation is being installed in the engine room and engineer’s cabin. The forepeak has been painted.

 

 

 

Tanks and Hull Sandblasted and Painted

As we previously only applied primer to the hull for transport it was required to have this removed via sandblasting and to then have a corrosion protection coating applied.

The fresh, black and grey water tanks were also sandblasted and painted.
